What is init6.com?
Every Linux admin knows what init 6 does. Reboot.
I bought this domain because of a joke played on me when I was learning how hacking worked. Someone told me to init 6 a production box and I did. The mistake stuck. Years later I keep returning to the metaphor. Our industry runs on stale memory and hanging processes: old playbooks, old reflexes, old defenses patched the same way every time. A lot of it is ready for a reboot.
init6.com is where I’ll write about that. Papers, tools, slides, red-team notes, and the questions I’m sitting with as I move toward security leadership. Long and short, technical and strategic. If I publish something wrong, I’ll fix it or take it down. Specificity is worth the risk of being wrong.
Cadence: when something’s worth posting. No filler.
